From Prompt to Persona

Build the AI leadership staff  your business/ practice actually needs. A hands-on CEU workshop for Texas LPCs, LMFTs, and LCSWs who own their own practice and small business owners who wear all the hats.

From Prompt to Persona: Two Workshops, One Goal

In-Person Portion, Both Sessions

Session A - Small Businesses: 9/2
Session B - Mental Health Professionals: 9/3

Each session runs 3 hours in person, followed by a 1-hour virtual follow-up about a week later. The gap gives attendees time to actually build and test their persona before returning as a group to troubleshoot, ask questions, and share what they found.

Session A — For Small Business Owners

In-person: Sept 2 · 9:00 AM–12:00 PM ·

Location: Houston, TX (Address given after purchase)

Built for owners already using AI, just not with purpose yet.

If you've typed an email into ChatGPT to wordsmith the flow, and then wondered if it could do more, this workshop is for you.

Small & Mid-Size Business Owners

You're running marketing, customer correspondence, and financial or HR reporting without a dedicated team for any of it. You want AI to take on real work — consistently, not as a one-off prompt every time.

Operators & Office Managers

You're the one who actually implements new tools. You want something your whole team can use the same way, every time.

Why It Matters
  • Hours back, every week — a scoped assistant for correspondence, marketing content, or reporting; which  means you stop starting from a blank prompt.

  • Consistency across your team — one persona, used the same way by everyone, instead of five people prompting five different ways.

  • Guardrails that make it more useful, not less — knowing what a persona should never see is what makes it safe to hand off real work.

  • A next step, if you want one — your starter draft can go straight to a 1:1 build-out with the team when you're ready to deploy for even more value.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this session, you will be able to:
  • Explain what generative AI is and how it generates a response, rather than retrieving verified facts.

  • Reframe AI from a chatbot you ask questions to a set of role-based assistants that run parts of your business.

  • Compare the major AI platforms and identify which fits your business and the tools you already use.

  • Define what an AI “persona” is: a scoped assistant with a defined voice, defined inputs, and defined limits.

  • Identify where the guardrails go — what a persona should never see, and why that boundary builds trust in the tool.

  • Build and test a starter AI persona for one real operational task in your own business.

Commonly Asked Questions

Session B — For Mental Health Therapists (CEU Workshop)

In-person: Sept 3 · 1:00 PM–4:00 PM

Location: Houston, TX (Address given upon purchase)

Built for clinicians who are already using AI — just not with purpose yet.

If you've typed an email into ChatGPT to wordsmith the flow, and then wondered if it could do more, this workshop is for you.

Practice Owners

You're carrying intake, scheduling, marketing, and financial reporting on top of clinical hours. You want AI help with the back office, numbers, and marketing, without exposing your practice to a HIPAA problem you didn't see coming.

Clinical Supervisors

You're responsible for what your LPC Associates/ LMSWs do with AI, whether or not you've set the rules yet. This gives you a shared framework to bring back to your group.

Solo Practitioners

You are the whole back office and front line staff. You want one governed assistant that handles the admin grind, built the same afternoon you learn why it's safe to use.

CEU Details

You will receive 1.0-hour of ethics in this session. This session is 4.0 total hours: 3.0 in person on Sept 3, plus a 1.0-hour virtual follow-up about a week later. The dedicated Ethics Block — a full 1.0 hour on AI governance, HIPAA compliance, and clinical ethical guidelines — is delivered during the in-person portion.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this session, you will be able to:
  1. Explain what generative AI is and how it generates a response, and why that distinction changes how you should use it clinically.

  2. Identify the ethical considerations of using AI for note-taking, diagnosing, and treatment planning, in relation to your board's ethical code.

  3. Distinguish between PHI and PII in the context of AI tools, and apply de-identification practices before any data enters a prompt.

  4. Describe the human-in-the-loop principle and identify where AI assistance ends and clinical judgment must begin.

  5. Compare the major AI platforms and evaluate their data-handling settings against the needs of a HIPAA-covered practice.

  6. Define what an AI “persona” is: a role-scoped assistant with explicit, documented boundaries.

  7. Build and test a starter AI persona for one real administrative function in your own practice.
